For All I Care
I’m currently listening to For All I Care, the 2009 album by The Bad Plus (with Wendy Lewis). I really only knew them by reputation and picked up the album on a bit of whim from my favourite record store (which is closing this week, but that’s another story). On this one album they manage to cover Nirvana, Pink Floyd, Wilco, The Bee Gees, Flaming Lips, Heart and U2, among others.

The King of Limbs
Finally picked it up (much like I just picked up Arcade Fire’s The Suburbs two weeks ago) and am kind of not sure about it. Side A seems like Radiohead just messing around in the studio. Side B is a little bit more linear, but not much. I’m going to need to listen to this a few more times before I’ll be able to make some sense of it. I hope.
