How come no one told me Community is phenomenal? Thank goodness for Netflix, so I can watch the entire first season. I’m on episode three. I think I’m going to rename this blog “Late to the Party”, as I seem to only figure things out after everyone else loves them.

Death at a Funeral (UK)

Just watched and was laughing pretty hard at quite a few moments. Peter Dinklage is phenomenal, and Alan Tudyk chews the scenery in the best way possible. 8.5/10

Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues

Helplessness Blues is quite good, and the second half of it is really quite something, but the gem from this 12” is the AA side, Grown Ocean. Sweeping, surging, swelling, soaring. Superb.

Flaming Lips - Soft Bulletin

I picked up Heady Nuggs by the Flaming Lips on Record Store Day. For those of you who don’t know - it’s a box set of their first five Warner Bros. albums on vinyl.
